Qingdao Science and Education Park, Chinese Academy of Sciences (QSEPA), located in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, is developed by Chinese Academy of Sciences and Qingdao Municipal Government. It covers an area of 1.33 square kilometers.
QSEPA is a research and education complex on marine science, hosting IOCAS and other 12 institutes related to marine science, College of Marine Science, and several R&D Centers.
Through integration of the marine research and graduate education strengths of Chinese Academy of Sciences, QSEPA will promote the development of marine science, cultivate high-level personnel of marine science and technology, and make great contributions to the innovation of marine industry.
